5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Checking on Home While Away with Smooth 360° Viewing I purchased this Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam mainly so I could look around my house while I’m away from home, and it has worked really well for that purpose. Being able to control the camera from my phone and pan 360° or tilt up and down makes it easy to check different areas of a room without needing multiple cameras.The Live View feature connects quickly, and the two-way talk is clear and useful when I need to communicate with family members or pets while I’m gone. The HD video quality is sharp enough to easily see what’s going on, and the color night vision does a nice job keeping the picture clear after dark.Installation was very simple — just plug it in, connect it to the app, and place it where you want it. I also like the option to connect it with Alexa devices for alerts and quick video access, which adds convenience.Overall, this camera gives me peace of mind when I’m traveling or away for extended periods. I love the array of views on my iPhone and how you can instantly switch to any camera view with on touch. Panning feature works great!My one complaint is with the mounting screws! They are very thin wood screws needing a Phillips head screw driver to screw in the wall. Problem is that the head strips very easily, even if a guide hole is drilled in prior to installation. I ended up needing to drill through the plastic base and used a #8 sized star drive screw (1 1/4”) to attach to the wall. The video quality is clear both during the day and at night, and I really like being able to pan the camera to see the entire room instead of being stuck with one viewing angle.One of the best features is that I paired it with my Echo Show 8. I can simply ask Alexa to show me the camera, and it instantly pops up on the screen. It’s become our everyday baby monitor, and I love being able to check in while I’m cooking, cleaning, or in another room without having to grab my phone.The two-way talk is also a nice bonus. If my little one wakes up before I get there, I can talk to him through the camera until I make it to his room.Setup was quick, the app was easy to use, and the camera connected to my Wi-Fi without any issues. It covers everything I wanted it for, took less than 10 minutes install and set up, clear image day & night. An added layer of security to go with her doorbell camera. I previous owned the older models of this camera and I think I like this one best of all! Most advanced version of the model, control positioning from the app instead of having to move it manually and only be stuck with one angle, and the price for this camera brand new compared to what I paid for my old one’s brand new… honestly a steal! I might grab a couple more. If you’re looking for a good indoor camera to work either as a standalone device or as part of a system you can keep adding to… this is a great camera to start with.
