Not a lot of unwanted litter outside the box. So easy to clean. I use dawn dish soap and hot water. Dry it really good and fill it on up. Good to go! I’ve purchased two. It does seems to have little spots where it might start to rust on the inside. I just covered them up with clear nail polish and it seemed to work OK.Variation: Color: Black

I’ve had cats before but only the plastic litter boxes that get absolutely disgusting and smelly no matter what. This stainless steel litter box is so much better. Easy to wash, dries quickly without lingering odors. My kitten took to it immediately. It is a bit big and it’s obviously your pets very visible bathroom area but it provides the described services. I like that it comes with a cover for kitty privacy and to minimize litter scatter. When she jumps out of the top I will say there is some litter scatter but nothing a litter mat and daily to every other day sweeping/vacuuming can’t handle. One thing to be aware of is that only the bottom pan is stainless steel, not the entire box.I’m giving it four stars because assembly and opening it for cleaning are more complicated than I would like. It works fine once everything is together, but I wish it were easier to open and close.My cat was a little confused at first, especially when she discovered the skylight on top. We ended up not using the outside litter-catching step. Our cats just jumped over it and actually seemed more cautious about entering when they had to step on it.Other than those issues, it works great. The stainless steel bottom is sturdy and easy to clean, and the overall construction feels solid. A few design improvements would make it a five-star product.Variation: Color: Light Gray

The lid connects easily and securely, although there is a bit of litter spillage, it’s less than your typical litter box. My cat is 15 lbs and he got used to it easily when I let him sit in it initially with no litter, then I put his typical litter into the new box and it took less than 2 days to adjust. It doesn’t eliminate odor, however it does reduce it. The scooper attachment is helpful and study, and I find the step is helpful with collecting litter as well.I’m undecided on automatic litter boxes, so I was looking for a large, good quality litter box. This litter box is perfect in the interim.Variation: Color: Black
