5.0 out of 5 stars this brand is perfectly safe the fda fearmongering is nonsense. i’ve been feeding my german shepherd this brand for his entire life since he was 8 weeks old, and now he’s 4 years old. he’s extremely healthy, his coat is smooth, he has plenty of energy, and he loves this food. i switch between ancient grains and grain free periodically, because there’s been a lot of discourse about whether grain-free is actually good for dogs or not, so at this point i have no idea about that but i figure switching between the two regularly is safe enough.people really need to stop putting so much faith in the fda. they’re incredibly shady and can and have been bought to sell a narrative SO many times because capitalism. but if you’re really that scared, take your dog for a checkup and ask a trusted vet their opinion. try out the food for a couple months and take the dog back for bloodwork, etc. if your dog is doing fine, the food is fine. but even if your dog isn’t doing fine on this food, keep in mind that some dogs just individually have specific needs and may just need foods with certain ingredients. if your dog is getting sick off of a brand, it’s usually not the brand’s fault, it’s just that your dog specifically needs to be on another food.anyway, i love this brand, and it’s kept my dog very healthy and happy. i will continue to buy for as long as it exists.Variation: Flavor Name: Roasted Bison & Roasted VenisonSize: 14 Pound (Pack of 1)

Let me tell you, he LOVES it. This is the first food my picky eater will beg for. He RUNS to his bowl every day at dinner time and will do happy tippy tappies and demand bark for it. It smells great, isn’t too crumbly, is a great high quality food. The kibbles are just the right size. I would highly recommend this brand. She loves the different flavors and she always has a good appetite! I did switch to Ancient Grains formula upon the recommedation of my vet, instead of the grain-free.
