4.0 out of 5 stars Princess loves it, me not so much I gave this 4 stars, but it’s because my kitty loves it so. She’s not a Persian, just a garden variety American Shorthair. She has medium hair at places, and may have some exotic in her, but she isn’t pedigreed!I got a sample from PetFoodDirect a couple of months ago, and I had barely opened the bag before she was pawing at me to get some. She has been turning her nose up to food lately, so every time she eats something it’s a small party. Well, this she liked. She has another bowl of dry food out, and she won’t even touch it. But this she eats! She can hardly wait for me to fill her bowl before she starts eating!I am not fond of the ingredients on this, though, 6.8% crude protein is not a high quality cat food. Lots of by-products and carbs, and not what I _want_ to feed my cat. So I mix it with her high quality kibble (another one she likes, but not as much), so she gets some good with the bad. I wish this had been of higher quality, but low quality food is better than no food!ETA: As one of the comments pointed out, I was wrong on the crude protein. The crude protein is 28% and the 6.8% is crude fiber. I maintain the protein is not high enough, and the quality of it is very low grade. 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for our Persian. We have a senior Silver Shaded Chinchilla Persian and she has been eating Royal Canin Persian Dry Cat Food since the day she joined our family as a kitten. The day she joined our family I stopped at the big pet store to pick up a few things for her and just happened to run into the Royal Canin representative. I loved all the benefits of the food for my little one and I wouldn’t need to make special trips somewhere to pick it up.Throughout the year we do get her groomed in a lion cut but for the majority part of the time she has her long fur coat on. We hardly ever have to pick up hairballs from spit up and we really believe it is because of this food.Each piece is small and almond shape – which I think she likes that it is dainty. She is very good not to over eat so we free-feed our little one but this 7-pound bag last us close to two months.You can see the food almost has a shine to it from the healthy oils and this only helps with her soft and beautiful coat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally a dry food that doesn't make my cat sick... My Persian was on a 100% wet diet for years but started to become a slow eater. The wet food would end up sitting out for hours before being touched again, and by that time it had gone bad and had to be thrown out. The amount of food and money that was being wasted, as well as the little amount of food my cat was eating, forced me to switch to a dry food. The only problem was that I couldn’t find one that didn’t make her sick. I tried slowly transitioning her to several premium dry foods without any lucky, but Royal Canin Persian Breed Adult Dry Cat Food worked wonders. She doesn’t get sick, what ends up in the litter box doesn’t smell atrocious, and she’s now back to getting the right amount of food daily.

5.0 out of 5 stars My cat’s favorite, but WHY is it so expensive?? So, my Persian cat was raised on this food…she loves it and so do my other 2 non-Persian, but long haired cats. My Persian is going on 13 years old, so, I’ve been buying this food for a long time and whoa, it has gone up in price astronomically. Just 4 years ago it was $26.99-$31.99, now it is $45.99. That is outrageous! Even with the subscribe and save, it is so expensive. I know inflation is gauging everyday Americans, but this is ridiculous! I can’t possibly switch her food now, she’s a senior gal!
