The 2K resolution is sharp, the zoom is useful, and the camera was easy to set up with the Ring app. It has been reliable for monitoring my home, and I like the overall design and features.The only area where I think it falls short is the night vision. It works, but in my experience it isn’t as clear or detailed as some other brands I’ve used. I expected a little better performance in low light, especially given the camera’s other premium features.Overall, it’s still a very good indoor security camera with excellent daytime image quality and a solid user experience. 5.0 out of 5 stars A considerable upgrade over the earlier generation Ring indoor camera Like every Ring device, this camera is very easy to set up. Because I was adding it to a current set up (just upgrading an earlier model inside camera), the setup was so simple. Just scan the QR code and it pretty much set itself up. This is my first “Plus” indoor camera and, though I was (am) very happy with my existing earlier generation cameras, the video on this one is amazingly sharp. The image is like looking through a window and at night, the color image is so far beyond the earlier generation’s almost night-vision like display. This Plus camera also has a privacy cover that you can slide over the lens as desired to avoid recording. All this, btw, for essentially the same price as the earlier cameras. If you’re adding Ring cameras, definitely go with the Plus model. I was fortunate to buy this one on sale during Prime week and I’m so impressed with it that, even though my other earlier generation cameras still function fine, I will upgrade all of them the next time I see a similar sale.Variation: Color: WhiteSize: 1 Camera

The camera is also small enough that it’s easy to place without being an eyesore.One thing to know before buying: many of the features people expect from a security camera, especially reviewing recorded video after an event, depend on having a Ring subscription. Without one, the camera is much more limited.A useful setup tip is to spend a few minutes adjusting your motion zones and sensitivity instead of leaving the defaults. It dramatically cuts down on unnecessary alerts while still catching activity where you actually care about it.I’ve found it very reliable for indoor monitoring. 5 stars for the camera itself, just factor the subscription into the actual cost of owning it.Variation: Color: WhiteSize: 1 Camera

Power cord is different (USB C) so make sure you have the right cords/adapters if you are replacing an existing one. Easy to install.
