I used to feed only specialty, high protein foods without grains and fillers. However, once I was feeding 12 rescue cats and putting food out for ferals, I found the Purine One tender selects was a great alternative to those expensive specialty brands. The cats love the chewy bits and crunchy texture and flavor just as much and now when I do need to offer an alternative, they just let it sit.
