Since her cats enjoyed it so much, I decided to order some and try it with my cats at home.When it arrived my cats loved it right away. They are big gravy fans, and they also prefer soft pate instead of chunky food, so this hits all their favorite taste buds. My elderly 16 year old loves the taste and it’s easy for her to chew because it’s so soft. Flip the can over and it slides right out into the dish. Easy Peasy! I gave it 4 stars because sometimes cans are dented or the labels have come off making it a bit of a mystery flavor. 5.0 out of 5 stars Your cat will love this gravy saturated pate My cat loves Fancy Feast pate with gravy, it’s her ultimate favorite. She’s all about the gravy, and Fancy Feast contains a lot of gravy. Pate is better than cuts for an ambush predator like a cat, since an obligate carnivore cannot chew and instead rips and swallows whole. In English and not science jargon, this means less vomit from cats who eat pate. We humans are omnivores so our jaws move in all directions, but your cat’s jaws only go up and down. Enough of the Science Rock, back to the review. My cat loves Fancy Feast in general but this gravy saturated pate is absolutely the bomb as far as she’s concerned. I like it for the reasonable price and the quality and the fact it’s pate and doesn’t cause tummy problems like cuts and chunks have a tendency to do. She eats small portions of wet food 5x’s a day equaling 1 & 1/2 cans per day, and grazes on her dry food at her leisure. Otherwise she deems any wet food not suitable for her “dinning delight” if it sits in her dish very long. Yes, you guessed it she’s a finicky eater, and maybe a little spoiled too.
