I chose wisely!I wanted a car seat that my Miniature Australian Shepherd puppy could use now and as an adult. She is currently 12 lbs at 17 weeks old with an expected adult weight around 30 lbs. She fits comfortably and there is plenty of room for her to grow.The straps easily adjust to fit both my mid sized SUV and my husband’s full sized truck. There are two adjustable straps to secure your fur baby. Although they were a little long even when adjusted as short as possible, it was an easy fix by looping them through the o-ring.My puppy loves this seat. Of course, she prefers to sit in our lap, but it was a safety hazard. The first time using it, she was a little upset. This was quickly resolved by crushing up a treat and placing it on her seat. As soon as we started driving and she realized that she could now see out the window, she had no problems at all!We already got the opportunity to test out the washability. She had an upset stomach and lost her lunch. The cover easily unzipped and did great in the washing machine. 5.0 out of 5 stars Great car seat for our terrier! This worked out great for my 21 lb terrier. We have a long drive on highways to get to our vet, so I wanted to be sure our dog was safe and secure. I placed it in the front seat so that I could reassure her and make sure she didn’t try to jump out. She still needs to adjust to the idea of a car seat, but she settled in well and it kept her safe. She was also able to see out the windows of our SUV, which is a plus. 4.0 out of 5 stars It’s pretty good The strap is attached from overhead which caused it to get wrapped around my little bichon’s leg several times to his great discomfort. I used the strap from my old seat and hooked the two together and attached from the seat belt below. Much better. The loops at the base through which the seat belt runs are almost too small which adds to the takedown-setup time. This is not an issue unless I’m giving rides to friends which I frequently do. The seat cushion is slippery so I have tucked a terry bathmat over it. Problem solved. I love the pocket for his leash. It is overall a lighter car seat than the old one and I would prefer a little more heavy duty. But we are making it work and he is getting used to it.Variation: Size: MediumColor: Beige

Used to have to put a big dog carrier in the car and then had a hard time getting our guys out. Used it yesterday and our little guy was so happy in it. It holds them in but not so restricting that they are uncomfortable, but still secure enough. 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect! Fantastic. Our 3-4 month old puppy had not had a good first car ride, but this made her second car ride great. I was very relieved. She snuggled right in and kept relaxing her head on the lower parts of the sides when she wanted to look around. And for now she can curl up pretty decently. I wish the foam in the front was stiffer as our pups lean against the front and have caused it to not be as sturdy as needed for car rides.
