4.0 out of 5 stars Could be better I had a CatIT jumbo hooded box before this one. The thing I miss about it the most is the quick latches for the sides, so the lid came off quickly and it made the box super easy to clean out. On this unit, it’s really difficult to get the lid off the pan, and I’m worried over time the lid latches will break. That said, my old box broke on the bottom because it was plastic and got brittle over time – my scooper broke a chunk off the bottom while cleaning it. That will not happen with this box because the aluminum pan is awesome. The top has some nice-to-have features, but none are really amazing. The top lift is okay but leaves room to be desired (like if it lifted off the front of the pan, instead of the door grille so it would be easier to dump/replace the litter. So, it’s great for daily cleaning, not great for the weekly purge/replace, and the top door is useless for my cat. He won’t use it. The step also doesn’t attach to the box at all, and the rubber feet are basically useless to keep it from sliding, so between the cat and roomba, it doesn’t stay in front of the box.Overall, not a bad box, has a few little quirks that could be better worked out (like a latching top instead of a clip and having a top lift that went all the way to the edge of the pan), but on the plus side – it will never leak through an aluminum pan.Variation: Size: X-largeColor: Grey

The quality is excellent, and you can tell right away it’s made to last.The material is such a great choice. The stainless steel feels sturdy and doesn’t absorb anything, which really helps with odor control—honestly, no smell escapes, and that makes such a difference in the home. I also appreciate that there’s no leakage, so I never have to worry about messes getting outside the box.One of my favorite things is the ease of cleaning. This stainless steel litter box is perfect for my medium and large cats. The door is detachable for kitties like mine who think the door is a wall, but it has a cute paw print design and swings easily. It has a hinge top for easy accessibility for kitty if they prefer it, and easy access for the human scooping out kitty waste. The top also has a filter on top for a carbon pad for odor control. I think this was the best litter box I could’ve bought for the price. It feels extremely durable even the plastic parts. It is almost too small for our cat, but we knew that going in. The size is as described and it went together really nice. I like that you can open the ‘door’ and it stays up for scooping. 5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome litter box My cats love this and so do I. Keeps the liter from getting everywhere. Cats can be a mess when it comes to bathroom time for our furry friends. The litter box is durable. Easily accessible to clean the inside. The half of top opens up like a trunk to get access inside. I don’t use the flap door on mine as my cats are fraidy cats. It is so easy to clean and the door helps cut down on litter dust in the room. I clean it every day but it is large enough to skip a day if you choose.
