Each of our healthy snacks, like Full Moon Chicken Fillet treats, are free of artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors and full of things dogs love. Glycerin and fillers like corn, wheat, and soy have no place in our recipes. In other words, we only use simple, natural ingredients you’d find in a grocery store and likely eat yourself, like chicken breast, celery, and rosemary. I average 120 per year out of my home-based rescue and these treats have really helped to get the attention of my charges. This is not always easy with dogs that don’t know you, but so critical in their training. I especially love that they are easy to cut into smaller sized treats (with just a pair of scissors) so the dogs can gobble them down and look to you for more right away. They are also soft enough for them to gobble (and not get stuck in their throat). This is another crucial quality of a good training treat. When used whole, they get the satisfaction of a nice (5 second, LOL) chew which sometimes you need to distract them so you can take care of something (like getting another dog to go in the kennel before you shut the door)!
