5.0 out of 5 stars Improved mobility, less pain, and a gener Miss Wimpy (Sarah) is getting older, but my forever friend. She’s had a hard life before rehoming and may be considered a bit grumpy, but I love her. To me, she is everything—a joy to see always. Her little limp worried me because her movement and comfort have been impacted. I was specifically looking for something with collagen and green-lipped mussel (not easy to find in one place), but NutraRegen Select Hip and Joint has been a game changer for her. She liked the taste, she’s more energetic, hesitates less when getting up, and her limp seems less painful after a few weeks of use. We’re both super happy with the supplement. I started with a low dosage and increased to one scoop per day—it’s not too costly, and the improved mobility is worth every dollar. Highly recommend for a mature friend. 5.0 out of 5 stars Dental Care for Senior Dogs is Important! Older dogs especially need dental care. This is recommended for senior dogs 7 years or older. In reading the label there were a number of attributes which I liked:- Beef Flavor (from desiccated beef liver).- Made in USA.- No artificial colors dyes or preservatives. No fillers.- No additives.- No maltodextrin.- 3rd party tested.The list of ingredients includes collagen, turmeric, green lipped mussel, and hyaluronic acid. Dosage is calibrated by weight and there is a scale on the label. The label notes 45 scoops of powder. I take some of these supplements myself.This is jar is 7.7 ounces by weight, and is about 3 1/2 inches tall. Includes scooper. The font size used on the jar was readable. Some canisters are so small you need a magnifying glass, not this one. Readability is important to senior dog owners! The jar appears to be a fresh batch, with an expiration date of 06/2027. I always recommend fully reading labels on health-related products.We included this in our dogs breakfast, and as usual she fully consumed it all. We anticipate it will be effective to her health based upon the quality ingredients included in the formulation.The warning label notes this is not for human consumption and to keep out of reach to children and animals.Included in our dog’s breakfast which she fully consumed (as she normally does). After a few weeks on this powder, I noticed they are both seem to be moving with more ease and less stiffness when getting up.What I like:• Easy to use: The powder blends right into her food without fuss. No more hiding pills in peanut butter or liverwurst.• Senior-friendly formula: This supplement contains glucosamine, chondroitin, and collagen. My vet recommends that I keep the pups on a supplement like this and I believe it has all the same ingredients that are in the product the vet is selling.• Real improvements: She’s back to climbing stairs without hesitation and even chasing the ball again.• Value: 45 servings in one container means it lasts a good while.Things to note:• The dogs seem to like the taste however, all of my dogs have picky palates so I usually mix this with a bit of wet food to be sure it goes down!• Made in the USAOverall, this supplement has made a real difference in my dog’s mobility and comfort. 5.0 out of 5 stars My dog loves it! Seems to really be helping my dog. He’s considered an elder and he’s a very large dog who often struggles with getting out of his bed. Since he’s been taking this supplement, he does seem a lot more youthful and able to get out of the bed more easily. He seems to enjoy the taste and never has an issue, scarfing it down with his food. The price is fair, especially for the benefit. 4.0 out of 5 stars Works Well, but Lacks Manufacturing Transparency I picked out this powder for my big 100+ lb silver doodle, Bear, because of the dual benefits for joint and gut health. He’s getting older and, especially since colder weather set in, I’ve noticed he’s a little stiff in the legs when he first gets up. Overall, I’ve been pleased with NutraRegen’s supplement powder.Daily Use: I mix one heaping scoop into Bear’s wet food (usually homemade chopped chicken in bone broth) and pour it over his dry food once a day, typically at dinnertime. Since there’s a good amount of flaxseed in it, I don’t use the full recommended dosage for his size — too much flaxseed has caused loose stools for him in the past.Taste & Effectiveness: Bear clearly loves the taste and starts full‑body wiggling when I pull out the tub. I’ll chalk that up to the dried liver powder listed as the second ingredient. After three weeks of use, I’ve noticed he’s less stiff in the hips when getting up, despite the cold weather. He’s also started bounding and trotting more on our daily walks, so his improved mobility indicates he’s clearly feeling good.Concerns: The label says the supplement is manufactured for a company based in Florida, but it doesn’t disclose where it’s actually produced or where the ingredients are sourced. For the price, I expect more transparency.Final Thoughts: This supplement appears to be effective, and Bear loves the taste. It is too early to see a big difference, but I sprinkle it on his dry dog food and add a little water and mix and he eats it just fine. I’m not sure if it actually works but it certainly does not hurt and I like that you can mix directly into food vs trying a chew that she may not eat. The value for the money was good.
