4.0 out of 5 stars Read for severe itchy/yeasty dog review Anyone who suffers with an itchy, paw licking, hot spot suffering canine- read on.I have a dog who is seemingly allergic to air. His paws get so bad they bleed when he walks!! And at one point he scratched himself raw on his neck. So, this is a severe case. We have tried everything under the sun. Everything. So, I’d consider myself an expert at this point. Here is my honest review of the Douxo line:Shampoo: this is the best product in the line. I use once a week. Honestly, it works for about 2-3 days, then needs another go. That’s expensive for the small bottle and my big dog. It does remove corn chip odor. I try and leave it on 4-5 minutes in shower, but that can be tough with my dog who doesn’t love showers. The smell is nice. It removed dandruff and cleared up his neck. I have considered soaking paws in this nightly, but not sure how that would go.Foam: in between washes we use the foam. This does seem to work- though it is messy to apply. I use mostly on legs, paws, and neck. It does keep down corn chip odor and seems to help redness. It is not a miracle cure. And, it’s expensive for the extensive use. It helps, but does not cure/end the paw licking.Wipes: I use this extensively on paws each night. It is more cost affordable than the foam, but not as effective. Still it keeps his paws from bleeding. Does not handle the corn chip smell or stop bleeding- is more of a spot clean up.Now, anyone who deals with this knows this is just the outside. My guy is also on the K-9 probiotics. These seem to give him more energy, regular firm stools, and help his repetitive behavior. He does not mind taste at all. We have added Dogs are Human vitamins. All of this makes it bearable – it has not solved the problem. We are adding collagen next and I will update post if it helps significantly. The BIG PLUS of all of this is he is not on Aquapel, and we do not give him antihistamine daily anymore- which I feel good about. My dog is also OCD and the regimine here seems to have really helped with that. He does not chase lights nearly as much as he used to 8 out of 10 improvement. For all of this, I gave 4 stars because it is the best regimen of everything we have tried (which is everything) and has given him about a 6 out of 10 relief.Hope this helps! Best of luck to you!Variation: Size: 6.7 oz

5.0 out of 5 stars Emergency vet recommended My dog got a bladder infection and vet noticed from her licking the inside of her thigh that it was red and scaly. She recommended I buy this shampoo saying it was a good antibacterial antiseptic shampoo for skin irritation and to cleanse my girl if she peed on herself. I was using baby shampoo thinking that was mild, but found out it is not the right ph for a dog. So far the couple times I’ve used it I have been very impressed. It doesn’t take but a few squirts to get a good lather going. Don’t go overboard as the bottle isn’t that big and it is a bit pricey. It rinses off good and has just a very mild vanilla scent. I see they make a few other variations of it so with that available I highly recommend buying this.Variation: Size: 6.7 oz

5.0 out of 5 stars Best ever for yeasty shih tzu As a professional groomer I can’t recommend this product enough. In Dec we got a new Shih Tzu pup who was very yeasty. First thing we did is change her feed, and bathed her in every to my knowledge for yeast for the next 5 months, nothing worked and I mean nothing. As a groomer I didn’t want her on the vicious cycle of steroids and antibiotics that only temporarily give her relief. After much research I took the 40.00 leap as a last ditch effect before letting the Vet medicate her.I kid you not the 1st bath and she was clearing up. You have to take your time and really work the product into the coat allowing to set for a bit before rinsing. I do 2 lathers letting each set for 10 mins.Rinse extra well.Today was her 3 bath in this amazing product. No itching, no yeasty musty smell and no itching during her dryer time. The smell is nice, pricy but a little goes a long way and worth every cent. I honestly need it in gallon size for my grooming room.Variation: Size: 16.9 oz

5.0 out of 5 stars It's worth it and worked on my pug!!!!!! I am reviewing both the mousse and shampoo -Douxo S3 PYO Medicated-Bacterial & Yeast Infection Treatment. I have a pug that for some reason had a cluster of nasty scabs that I do believe was yeast related. Before reaching out to my vet I did my research and this was the one that seemed to be the best choice without a prescription. I used the mousse since it arrived before the shampoo, using disposable gloves and really massaged it into her skin (she has an uber amount of soft hair/undercoat). I did that for 2 days in the AM and PM. On the third day I used the shampoo, following the instructions to massage and leave it on for 10 minutes. I continued this pattern, AM and PM mousse application, every 3 days shampoo. I honestly noticed a difference within a few days!!! Within 2 weeks its completely gone! I am very happy I made this purchase!!! Yes its pricey, but the vet is way more and your babies are worth it!!!!!!!You CANNOT expect this to work by just using it once, you must be consistent for a few weeks!Variation: Size: 6.7 oz

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing! After many vet visits and different products used this is the only thing that helped my boo girl with her skin allergies. She smells better, hair is growing back, it’s a little brutal watching your dog shiver for the time you have to let it sit lathered on them but oh so worth it for a healthy pup. My dog looks like my dog again and she’s acting like herself too! Worked wonders for her. Leaves her soft and beautiful.Variation: Size: 6.7 oz

5.0 out of 5 stars Effective shampoo for dog yeast infections This was an absolutely amazing shampoo to use on my dog when he had his yeast infections! It definitely stopped the itching & miraculously took away the yeast problems. It was a little pricey, but in the long run, it saved me any future huge vet bills!Variation: Size: 6.7 oz

5.0 out of 5 stars Medicated shampoo for Fur babies This shampoo is the best. My Doghter has dermatitis caused by yeast and the shampoo really gets down to the nitty gritty and makes her feel so much better when she takes a bath. But make sure you leave it on 45 minutes doesn’t hurt, doesn’t break her skin out. It’s actually really good for dogg that have sensitive skinVariation: Size: 6.7 oz
