4.0 out of 5 stars Better than Before I relatively pleased. The unit holds so much more water and reduces the number of times I had to refill it. I have two dogs and this is going great. My criticisms are that it gurgles a lot, makes noise, and the sensor is way too sensitive. It picks up movement from across the room. The way my house is set up is the water bowl is in the main room and every time anything remotely walks by it, it turns itself on. I guess that’s good for circulating the water, but I wish I could turn down the sensitivity. The other thing is it promoted “deep drinking well” that was better for dogs, but the well is kind of shallow and when the dogs drink out of it, it splashes everywhere. I have to put a towel under it, but still…. I can also see how changing the filter every month as directed can become tedious and expensive.Variation: Set name: Fountain & 1 Filter

It’s definitely quiet except for when the water level gets low, but even then it’s just the water from the top flowing back in and that’s not too terribly loud either. When the water is activated it is silent and that’s what I was nervous about at first because she runs away from pouring water sounds.
